Conscious Connection is an immersive exhibition that explores the boundaries between the natural and the artificial through three rooms of installations that showcase, in different but connected ways, the relationship between what is real, what is natural, and what is man-made. With tangible and impactful pieces, we aim to provoke critical thinking about the space around us and challenge the way we create and conceive the new. Why don't we consider the end of life of every new product we create? How will it be returned to the environment? Who will nourish it, and who will decompose it?
From plastic derived from corn to 3D-printed ceramics, from growing mushrooms in coffee waste to 3D scanning of natural elements and creating landscapes with artificial intelligence, we delve beyond robotics, space dystopia, and lots of flickering lights. Could technology be our natural future?
