This graphic essay imagines human and non-human cohabitation in an imminent near future. With poisonous land and wasteful wilderness, humans are forced to re-think their relationship with nature and accommodate it inside its highly-technological environments.
With a new normality of un-livable exteriors, architecture seeks to provide hydroponic farming slots and energetic algae cultivation inside its once human-centered spaces. The project proposes a new way of understanding The Urban with no physical or conceptual limits between the natural and the artificial.
Entorno inminente is a glimpse of the post-anthropocentric environment we need to conceive as a society to assure the legacy of ours -or any living- species.
