DATABASED is a curatorial project developed by XAARCHIVE Studio and curated by Francesca Rossi Minelli for ŏpĕra magazine. Presented in Issue 13 (September 2024), the project dives into XAARCHIVE’s evolving design methodologies, offering a closer look at their data-driven approach that merges digital processes, material experimentation, and conceptual research. Through DATABASED, the studio reflects on how information and technology shape not only objects but also the ways we interpret, archive, and design our built environment.
